Paula’s Carnegie Hall debut with Matt Small’s Chamber Ensemble was a huge success and an event that will never be forgotten. They have finished their CD entitled “The Royal Collection of Exotic Beasts”.
In a different genre, Chus Alonso’s flamenco and latin group Potaje has a recording called Flamenco Cat .They had a successful CD release party and have received rave reviews in Latin Beat Magazine. Look here for a Review of Flamenco Cat on KQED Radio’s California Report . Potaje was honored to play at Yoshi’s, one of the world’s most respected jazz venues, in a tribute concert for the Community Music Center .
This has been an exciting year, as it brought some new opportunities such as performing with the Santa Rosa Symphony, and keeping up with her two beautiful daughters! An ongoing highlight is being a member of the band for the longest running musical review in theater history- San Francisco’s own Beach Blanket Babylon. Come and check it out on any Wednesday night to hear Paula play. The New York Times approves!
